Hello dear friends
Forgive me for writing to you a group letter, I don’t tend to send such things and I hate it myself when people send it to me, but I feel this is a matter of importance and that you could all be of help.
Have you heard about the cancelation of the Palestinien puppetry festival by the Israel government?
It is absurd, cruel and sad. I attach here a petition. I believe (or hope at least) that as an international community we have power, and if we all sign and tell our puppeteer friends to sign, we can show the Israeli government, that the whole world is looking at their Actions, and that the cancelation of the Festival creates a bad Image for Israel.
Please sign the petition, and help us spread the world, because every child in the world has the right to see puppetry, and no one can take that away from them.
Ariel (on behalf of the Israeli puppeteers. Well, at least the sane ones).
This is a small & silly punch and judy style protest movie which also has the link to the Petition.
